All interested candidates can look at their official site and get updates on the posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are <strong>three<\/strong> stages of the West Bengal Civil Judge Exam:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol id=\"block-9bc2ea2b-cb36-42dc-a044-2c5e87359e74\"><li><strong>Preliminary Exam<\/strong> &#8211; the screening test &#8211; MCQ Based &#8211; Language: English<\/li><li><strong>Mains Exam<\/strong> &#8211; Written \/ Subjective Based &#8211; Offline<\/li><li><strong>Interview<\/strong> &#8211; Viva Voce<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Preliminary Exam is conducted online where the candidates are screened and the selected candidates appear for the Mains Exam, which is written in nature. Once the candidate qualifies for the written exam, becomes eligible for the Viva Voce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Syllabus for West Bengal Civil Judge Exam:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>A. Mains Exam:<\/strong><br>No. of Paper: 11<br>Total Marks: 1100<br>Duration: 3 Hours for each<br>Medium: English<br>Type: Subjective<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>C. Viva Voce:<\/strong><br>The Viva Voce is the final stage where the candidate appears for an interview. The Viva Voce carries 300 marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A candidate-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Must be a citizen of India<\/li><li>Holder of a Law degree recognized from a Law University established by Law in India<\/li><li>Eligible to practice as an Advocate in India<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Age Limit: <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The minimum age is&nbsp;21 years, while the maximum age allowed for the exam is 35 years.
