Andra Pradesh Civil Judge Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Andra Pradesh Judiciary Exam and Pattern is issued by the Telangana High Court. All interested candidates can look at their official site and get updates on the posts.
There are three stages of the Andra Pradesh Civil Judge Exam:
- Preliminary Exam – the screening test – MCQ Based – Language: English
- Mains Exam – Written / Subjective Based – Offline
- Interview – Viva Voce
The Preliminary Exam is conducted online where screening of the candidates is done and thereafter the selected candidates appear for the Mains Exam which in nature is written. Once the candidate qualifies for the written exam, becomes eligible for the Viva Voce.

- Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005

Exam Pattern and Marks Distribution:
1. Preliminary Exam:

- Duration: 2 hours
- Medium: English
- Type: Computer-based
2. Mains Exam:

All subjects in the Exam shall be attempted in English* only except for the translation exam.
3. Viva Voce:
The Viva Voce carries 50 marks. Being absent on the day will be considered disqualified from the recruitment.
Selection criteria:
Candidates must score the minimum marks for the final selection to the posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division):

OC (General) / BC | at least 60% marks in aggregate in Written Examination and Viva-Voce |
SC/ST | at least 50% marks in aggregate in written examination and Viva-Voce |
Eligibility:
A candidate-
- Must be a citizen of India
- Holder of a Law degree recognized from a Law University established by Law in India
- Eligible to practice as an Advocate in India
